Quote Topic Concept (for the newish folks): Since they are going to be printing in a graphic novel format (likely) please try and keep them in the traditional comic book size at whatever ratio for the original.
And what size would that be for a digital file?

You can keep it any size you want - size being the relative term - but the ratio of the dimensions should keep with the traditional comic page size of 6.625x10.25” (16.8275x26.035cm - specific enough ) If you have a regular 11x17 artboard to start, the digital file you create off that scan should be good enough, and if not I can always help in adjusting it to fit into whatever format we'd need for print. I don't want to scare people off with millimeter measurements, just do whatever is comfortable.
